Ingram Micro

(April 2005 – July 2005)
At Ingram Micro (14 entities over Europe), a world leader in the distribution of technology products I was engaged as a consultant at the Process Improvement Departement to analyze the following processes: Order To Cash, Procure To Pay, Planning & Forecasting, Consolidation, Credit & Collections, Treasury, A/P, A/R, Fixed Assets, G/L, Procurement and Project Accounting. The assignment has the objective to analyze the solution in place and the business processes and document the As-Is processes (business processes, system landscape), map the processes to MySAP and make recommendations for improvement and Standardization (ERP Processes, Master data and interfacing and Accounting Standards based on US GAAP).

Ingram Micro
(Period October 2004 – March 2005)
At Ingram Micro Europe I supported an ERP Finance selection process from the start till the end in the role of a Project leader/consultant. The challenge is to implement a financial solution that will be integrated with their supply chain solution and other legacy systems.

My role was to plan and manage all activities of the selection process: define the strategy, define the business requirements, develop the Request for Proposal, perform the vendor due diligence, analyze the functionalities (in detail), define the risks for the business, facilitate the functional and technical workshops. The project had the following scope: GL, AP, AR, Procurement, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, Cost Allocations, Inter-company transactions, Consolidation Budgeting, Forecasting and Management Reporting. The size of this project is 14 European countries, 600 users and has a high impact and risk on the business. During this process package like Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, Intentia and Axapta are analyzed.

Euroclear Bank
(Period July 2004 – November 2004)
At Euroclear Bank I was involved as a Finance consultant in the bank’s Corporate Restructuring Project. Their challenge was to implement the spin-off and integrate the accounting ERP system Fimacs with other (Banking) applications running on their mainframe. For the last six month I supported Euroclear with its accounting setup, chart of accounts, fixed assets, reporting requirements, conversion, interfacing and application integration.

Electrolux
(Period: September 2004 – November 2004)
In order to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations Electrolux engaged me to audit their Functional security setup and the segregation of duties in the Finance and Distribution environment. Electrolux works with PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne (JDEdwards) for its worldwide organization. At this stage I audited Electrolux Austria which is the first country to go-live. Other countries like Germany and Spain are also in the scope and shall be planned when going live.

GE Fanuc (Robotics)
During the period of January and August 2003 I supported as a Project Manager GE Fanuc with a world wide Migration of their entire ERP system. This was a functional and technical migration from JDEdwards World Software to PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne. The system resides on an IBM AS400 and the database used was DB2.

Bubble & Foam Industries
BFI manufactures polyethylene foam, air bubble film and polystyrene panels for the packaging and construction sectors. During the period of September 2000 and January 2002 I supported this company with a full ERP implementation. The implemented solution was Real Software – Remax on Sql Server in a Windows Citrix Environment

Besix
Besix is an international Construction Company which implemented a world wide Financial Solution (Exact Software). During the period of January 1999 and July 1999 I supported this company as a Financial Lead consultant with the implementation. The most important points of focus here was their analytical accounting structure and process. We implemented this project on a Windows NT network.

Gemplus
Gemplus is a provider of smart card solutions (visa, sis-card, etc). I supported this company as a Financial lead consultant during the period of January 1998 and December 1998. Gemplus implemented for their accounting and reporting Exact Software on a Windows NT network.
