In May 2008 I have established Management, with the purpose to support organizations with the optimizations of internal logistical processes, the development of transport packaging systems and the implementation of new commercial possibilities.

Projects until now:
• DSM Research (1-9-08 / 31-1-09): Analysis of the internal logistical process, with the purpose to lower the hidden cost of the inefficient material low, the reduction of the lead time of the test processes and consequently increasing the customer satisfaction and ensuring a good competitive position.
• Söhner Kunststoffen (1-10-08 / now): Setting up a business model for renting transport packaging systems. This includes the development of a calculation model and the terms to rent packaging systems. The calculation model can be used to make an analysis of the rental cost for the end customer.
• Trigos Support (1-9-08 / now): The research and execution of possibilities to ensure a sound competitive position of Trigos Support.


9/2006 till 1/2009 Product manager Ranpak BV, Heerlen


Responsible for the marketing, positioning, support and development of the “Void Fill” product line.
• Project management of automated packaging systems at customers. Activities are for example the setting up of ROI calculations, the analysis of logistical processes at the customer and to make the translation to a technical solution.
• Coordination of new product developments, including the introduction. For example the execution of a market research for a new packaging system, the development of design criteria, the coordination of the accompanying design process (with engineering) and the tuning with Ranpak Corp in the US.
• Analysis of the impact of different packaging materials on the environment.
• Coordination of the optimization of current packaging systems.
• Market analysis of the “Void Fill” product line, including the competition.
• Development of sales tools to support the sales force in Asia and Europe.


2/2006 till 9/2006 Location manager The Works Events BV, Beek (Lb)


Responsible for the daily business of an organization with 5 employees. The Works Events is a company that is specialized in Event Management and coordinated events all over Europe.
• Daily management over the project managers, assistants and the secretary.
• Taking actions to make the organization more professional, in order to be prepared to future growth. This includes the purchasing process.
• Acquiring new projects.
• Human Resource management.
• Accounts receivable.
•
I started at the Works Events, mainly to support the two company owners, to make the organization more professional and to take care of the daily management.

I started at VMT Ecopackaging BV in 2000. We were at that time with 6 people. In the meantime the organisation grew to 35 people, including the setup of a production facility. The revenues grew with 30% per year.
Large accounts imply accounts with revenues of € 100.000 – € 1.500.000 per order.
The accounts are in the whole of Europe, which I travelled frequently by myself.

Education

Master Degree Business Economics - Maastricht University

Currently applying for the APICS certification CPIM (certified production and inventory management). Expected certification date 31-12-2009.

Skills

• Independent, taking initiatives.
• Strong capability to internalize new situations, by means of a sound inquisitiveness, empathy en the effective collection and analysis of information.
• Good experience with analytical processes, including the development and comparison of different scenario’s. For example the development process of the means of transport of automotive parts, where not only the maximization of number of parts per packaging unit, but also the transport vehicle, the line layout and the transport distance were incorporated.
• Strong drive to take action and to get results.
• In the role of project manager a close involvement with the different project parties, both internally as externally. For example the tuning of the work of the technical engineers to the possible solutions of external supplier.
• Flexible attitude and always looking for new possibilities.
• Always worked in an international setting and travelled a lot.
• Grown up in a family of logistical entrepreneurs. The combination of a practical attitude with an analytical and conceptual mental capacity has led to large cost savings and process optimizations in former projects.
