Practice Manager Enterprise Solutions Complementary Software Group.
Managing a team of professionals specializing in new emerging software products complementary to the large ERP backbone systems.
Over the past years the team grew from 8 to 40 consultants specializing in the functional domains of:
- Supply Chain Management
- Data Warehousing
As manager of this team responsibilities included:
- Acquisition of new customers
- People management
- Budgets amounting to 6.5 M Euro
- Contract manager for the large contracts
- Business Development
- Alliance management towards the partners in the above mentioned domains (SAP APO, Manugistics, i2, Paragon, SAP BW, SAS, Business Objects)

The majorities of the projects acquired and implemented were in the area of High Tech and Electronics and in the area of Consumer Packaged Goods.
Some examples are:
- Supply Chain Management solution for Philips Semiconductors based upon the i2 system in conjunction with SAP (global project).
- Supply Chain Management solution for Kraft Jacobs Suchard based upon the Manugistics system (Design, Implementation and roll-out at European level).
- Data Warehouse solution for Raychem (a joined offer with SAS Institute) (global project).
- Various Management Information systems for the PTT in the Netherlands.
- Joint development project between Origin and SAP for APO for the fast moving consumer goods industry sector.
- Together with SAP France a SAP BW project with L’Oreal
- Datawarehouse project for Kraft Jacobs Suchard (Region Belgium, France and Spain).
- APO project with Smallbach Lubeca US/Germany (project was stopped early stage due to budget restrictions at the customer side).
- Implementation of the Adexa software in Philips Display Components (joined offer with Adexa as partner).
- Implementation of Adexa software in Philips Semiconsuctors (joined offer with Adexa as partner).
- Continues maintenance and support for the Philips Lighting project (see below).

07/1992 - 07/1995: Origin International.
Project Manager/Service Manager responsible for contractual and commercial relations and for the specification, development and implementation of several software packages for Philips Lighting Europe.
The project is a joint operation between Origin International and GSI.
The developed modules are:
- A module for the administration of the Customers, Vendors and Product structures (built in a VAX/Rdb environment).
- A module for short and medium term planning (built with the SAS software package).
- A module for Sales Margin Analysis (built with the SAS software package).
- A module for Postponed Rebate analysis (built with the SAS software package).
The development team consists of ± 13 persons.

02/1992 - 06/1992: Origin International.
Feasibility study for the implementation of the TOLAS software package of GSI for Philips Lighting Monza, Italy.

08/1989 - 01/1992: Philips International.
Project management and consultancy services for the implementation of a commercial logistics and financial software package for the Philips organ-ization in Tokyo, Japan.
This work included the requirement analysis, specification and implementation of a large number of local add-ons on the above mentioned software package.

04/1989 - 07/1989: Philips International.
Information analyst/Consultant in a team responsible for the specification of a cost accounting, pricing and management reporting module as an add-on for an existing commercial logistic and financial software pack-age for Philips Telecommunication and Data Systems; Apeldoorn, The Netherlands.

10/1988 - 03/1989: Philips International.
Project leader for the development of a contract management module for Philips Telecommunication and Data Systems; Paris, France.

02/1987 - 09/1988: Philips International.
Consultancy services for the implementation of a commercial logistics software package in Philips Telecommunication and Data Systems; Den Hague, Apeldoorn and Hilversum, The Netherlands.
