· Creation and implementation of a development strategy to increase both account and product penetration in the Non Traditional market for one of the UK leading Software publishers. Targeting “Non Software” outlets in the main, areas included FMCG, Travel, Entertainment, Mail Order, Electrical, Wholesale, DIY, Training, Out of Town and E-Commerce. Achieving placements in 30 new accounts. (Including - Comet, Maplin, Virgin Retail and Woolworth’s)
· Devise and implement operational recovery strategy, within a £50m national distribution group. Completion to set time plan and within a set expenditure budget.

· Provide for a very large telecommunications company, a detailed overview to the £1.75b UK Entertainment Market from initial product concept through to completed consumer purchase. Follow up with a trading proposal for the launch and the operation of a Digital Package for the UK Market.

· Create and implement for a trading division of a £1.5b Global Group, a Total Sales and Logistical Support Operation for the Non Traditional Entertainment Market within the UK. Strategy to increase both company and product penetration into the market. Implement total support package to retail placements in over 10 large FMCG accounts throughout the UK.

· Devise and implement a national product launch into the UK Retail Food Market on behalf of a regional bakery company. Implementation resulted in product placements being secured in Convenience, Wholesale and Supermarket outlets throughout the UK.

· Creation and implementation of a development strategy, moving the company from a mail order / direct response product base, and establish it as one of the Key Market players in the Budget Entertainment Market. Development and installation of a Complete Retail Support Package for the placements in 17 large FMCG companies

· Improve the logistical flow from incoming order to the completed delivery for a £70m division of a large PLC group. Implement recovery strategy installing new management, staffing and operational structures. Reduced expenditure by 30% whilst increased productivity by factor of 5 achieving the highest ever-monthly sales dispatches for the company to its customers of £6.6 million.

· Conduct a national review of 15 site Transport and Warehousing operation (£60m) of a large multinational group. Implement operational recovery strategy in 3 loss making sites (Largest site loosing £3,500 per day). Recovery achieved in all sites within the time scale, also operational cost reductions of over of 15% and new client introductions in excess of over £3m.

· Construct and action expansion plan for on of the UK leading Transport and Warehousing operations servicing the major DIY retails in the UK market. Increase revenue form both existing and new clients, also increasing the penetration with the retail outlets being serviced on behalf of the clients. Overall increase of 24% in revenue terns achieved with this campaign.

· Conduct full site operation review for one of the UK’s leading small domestic appliance suppliers. Devise Plan of action to re-align operation to meet current and future requirements under new ownership. Implement Action Plan to bring site operation in line with new management requirements.

· Prepare and present the project plan on behalf of a large commercial property developer, in conjunction with one of the UK leading Mail Order companies, a northern-based Rail Link distribution centre servicing the inner M25 and the South East.

· The establishment of a new company from a Green Field start-up position successfully negotiates Venture Capital Funding of £500k. Develop and implement a dedicated Distribution Service for the major DIY retailers. Successful negotiation of Sales and Distribution contracts with major Blue Chip FMCG and DIY clients to the highest levels.

· The establishment of 4 northern distribution sites within a new Green Field company. Successful sales negotiations to the highest levels within Electricity Boards - Large FMCG Operations - Buying Groups - Larger Independent Retail Outlets

· Three years Employee Development Course (Equal to Degree level) with the NCB in conjunction with the DTI. Resulting in a qualification that would allow management of any part of the NCB group up to Director level.

· Attendance and completion of a two year City and Guilds Business Management course. Resulting in a qualification that would allow a management placement in any automotive outlet within the UK
· Four years Indenture with City and Guilds for Automotive Mechanical Engineering completed.
