In this position my responsibilities were controlling, risk-management and the role of the deputy CFO for the group. So the responsibilities were the oversight of all finance functions, i.e. accounting, MIS, facility management and HR. In the senior management we drove the business and expanded our departments through Eastern Europe to East Asia. Focus was the investment management in foreign countries, the efficiency control and the organisation & people management in the group. This shows the wide range of activities in this senior position.

Wien Energie – Wienstrom GmbH
• EVP of controlling, accounting and risk management 2002-2006
The group consists of four divisions in the utility market (energy, gas, heating and facility management) and is one of the leaders in Austria. In this position I was responsible for the financial activities and controlling for all divisions. My main success was the support and control of the formation of an alliance with seven utility groups in Austria. In Addition I represented the company’s interests in several boards of subsidiaries.

Tyrolit North America Inc.
• CFO 2001-2002
As the Chief Financial Officer of this production facility I was responsible for accounting, cost accounting, purchasing, logistics, human resources, customer services and MIS. The main objective was to secure the manufacturing of superabrasives in the US market with the background of the closing of the whole facility. Main tasks were the successful leading of some due diligences, the preparation of the moving of sales and superabrasives, the necessary closing of the facility with all legal and HR requirements and the profitable sale of the manufacturing buildings.

Tyrolit Schleifmittelwerke Swarovski KG
• Head of Group-Controlling 2000 – 2001
In heading group controlling I was responsible for the F&A departments in about 40 production and sales companies of the Tyrolit group all over the world. Beside all classical reporting and accounting issues I successfully implemented a value-based management philosophy in Tyrolit. In the last years due to a profitable corporate development approach Tyrolit strengthened its leading position in Europe and expanded operation in Asia and Australia.
