Key responsibilities
· Prepare quotations against enquiries received from Fire Protection Contractors for LPC ,NFPA and FM approved sprinkler and hydrant installations.
· Technical back up to UK sales force
· General industrial sales enquiries .Design and preparation of quotations for the full range of Dri Prime ,Submersible and effluent treatment pump sets


September 2000 – June 2001 Alderley Process Technologies

The company no longer exists but was an Engineering contractor with an annual turnover of £3 - 4 Million and specialised in the design and supply of Air Pollution Control equipment and Produced Water Treatment Packages for the Oil and Gas industry

Reporting to the Sales Director and providing marketing support to assist the Environmental and Oil and Gas Sales managers generate new business

· Identify sales opportunities and manage the whole sales process from initial consultation through to proposal, presentation and contract negotiation.
· Achieve sales target of £1 million p.a.
· Position company/process as the industry leader


Specific Project Work/Achievements

· £80k order from Anglian Water in 1998 for retrofit of an Odorgard ™ system at Cromer STW. Ultimately developed into a £650k total up grade
· £1million order in 1999 from Wabag Engineering for the odour control system on the Greater Glasgow Solution (Shieldhall and Daldowie treatment works) contract
· £500k order in 1999 from Bechtel Morrison for the odour control system on the Dundee (Taywaste ) Hatton STW contract

The company specialises in the design and supply of horizontal vacuum belt filters and high rate thickener/ clarifiers for liquid sold separation in the mineral ,chemical ,pharmaceutical and water industries.Worldwide sales of £5-6 million per annum

Reporting to the Sales and process manager the position entailed selling capital equipment packages between £100k- £2million into the UK industrial market

· Achieve annual turnover of £500k in UK
