• Organized teams of research compiled of over 165 healthcare professionals and engineers throughout Europe and the US to create health related software and technology. $25 million were invested over the first 6 years for the development of the overall systems
. $2.5 million were raised in 1999/2001 for Texys for a valuation over $100 million in order to market these systems.


Exid (Sept 91 – Jan 95), Europe/USA

• Founder, main shareholder, and President & CEO of a start up developing software for
the healthcare industry and the automobile industry. Conceived, developed with a complete team of engineers, and implemented risk management systems that will be implemented in both the healthcare and the automobile industries.
• Consultant for healthcare organizations and pharmaceutical companies on the implementation of new information technologies.

Sodeta (Aug 83 – Sept 92), Europe

• Founder, main shareholder and President & CEO of Sodeta with three activities:
(1) development of technological environment for existing healthcare facilities, development of a new concept of five stars assisted living facilities throughout Europe,
(2) consultant for the heath care industry: pharmaceutical companies, governments, insurance companies.
(3) Development of an unique new concept of a “digital hospital” relying on proprietary software, optical fiber, cabling system, and smart cards. Integrated database and smart card systems pioneered integration of health management-related software and internal fiber optic communications.

Vie de France (Dec 78 - Aug 83), Washington D.C., and Paris, France

• COO of Vie de France, chain of French restaurants and bakeries around a new concept of croissants and French breads created in 1977 by the world largest milling company.
Staffed the whole team, designed the whole concept both on the technological side and the marketing side, opened restaurants throughout Europe bringing the chain to profit after 4 years. This company eventually went public in the US and France.
