· Pioneered Medtronic, Inc movements from a fulfilments perspective into the vascular (catheter) market. Co-leaded complete build-out of large manufacturing facility. Designed entire infrastructure and implemented all processes, procedures and standards. Hired and trained over 200 employees. Project completed on time and within budget.
· Implemented JIT methodology and concepts (Kanban and Andon), which resulted in lower inventory (re)turns (“zero defect”) and a scrap reduction to 95%. Also restructured to a flow mode manufacturing process.
· Responsible for volume manufacturing through line balancing. Achieved volume manufacturing goals within 9 weeks with increased output of 35%. Also introduced flexible work contracts for employees to support the operational production model for volume manufacturing.
