1996 Acted for ConAgra in a possible food sector JV in UK with Scottish & Newcastle Breweries (LSE: SCTN) (deal value £40m)
1995 Acted for ConAgra for the successful hostile acquisition of Canada Malting Ltd (TSE:13514110) (deal value C$400m).
Active member of the CAG integration team for Canada Malting acquisition (operations in Canada, USA, UK and Argentina)



1994/95 Acted for Sellers Group for the turnaround of a coal mining reclamation group, and was appointed CEO of both Cliff Resources (TSE:18690211) and Black Hill Minerals (ASX: BLM). (Combined market cap A$200m).
1994 Acted for ConAgra in finalising a joint venture in Denmark with Carlsberg Breweries (KFX: CARL B) (deal value $25m).
Led a team for ConAgra investigating the acquisition of large agribusinesses in Poland (possible deal value $25m).
1993 Acted for private investor group seeking acquisitions in Eastern Europe
Acted for ConAgra evaluating and negotiating the joint venture with Carlsberg
1992 Acted for ConAgra for the possible acquisition of UK grain processing companies (possible deal value £40m).
1991 Conducted strategic review of UK brewing & agribusiness for ConAgra
